We’ll make you an expert in people.
You’ll make Morrisons.

People Management Graduate Scheme
Our 110,000 colleagues ‘Make Morrisons’. So our Retail People Managers have a really important role to play in ensuring the company’s success. Join our People Management Graduate Scheme, and you can enjoy an early taste of what that responsibility involves.

Right from the start, you’ll be learning how to run the people function in a store and will gain experience of how to be the manager in charge of our overall operation. Along the way, you’ll enjoy structured training and will also enjoy the opportunity to complete a level 5 CIPD apprenticeship.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be getting stuck into all kinds of people activities as part of one of our busy store teams. To help you learn, you will shadow one of our existing People Managers. And before long, you should be able to become a People Manager yourself.

As well as gaining hands-on experience in our stores, you could find yourself working at one of our manufacturing sites or distribution centres. Or you could join one of our Head Office teams, working in areas such as Reward, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Leadership and Development.

And remember, our colleagues don’t work 9 to 5. So you won’t either. To thrive on this scheme, you must be happy doing early starts, late finishes and night shifts, and prepared to work weekends and bank holidays too.

What you’ll need
As well as having a minimum 2:1 degree, you’ll need a real passion for people management along with great interpersonal skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach. It’s also important that you are influential, self-motivated and results-driven. You’ll be required to relocate at least once during the programme, so you must be mobile and willing to move around the country. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
