This boutique-style media business is looking for a Media Sales Executive to join their team based in central London. They produce a variety of different media including, white papers, reports, online publications, and events all within the finance and fintech space, you will be responsible for the day to day management of display advertising and digital content revenue with the goal of growing clients revenue and prospecting new business. They have a very collaborative and nurturing culture.

The Role

As a Media Sales Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Lead generation and prospecting new business opportunities
  • Booking and attending meeting with the Managing Director
  • Planning and preparing presentations for sales meetings and calls
  • Managing an established account base, with a new business mindset constantly growing and up-selling
  • Attending all company events and also competitor events for business development purposes

The Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have at least one year's media sales experience ideally within financial media which will allow them to hit the ground running
  • Hold a university degree in a related subject to ensure you can have informed and relevant conversations around the marketplace
  • They will be natural relationship builders who are able to communicate effectively by phone and face to face to ensure they represent the business in the best way and build strong working relationships
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail which will give them the ability to work well under pressure and achieve accurate and timely results
