Travel AgentThis is a 3 month internship paying £18K - £20K with the aim to go permanent. This role is based near London Bridge.

What does the company do:

An exciting new Travel Agency aimed primarily but not exclusively at the LGBT market. This is a great opportunity to join a company at the start of their exciting journey.

How you can expect to spend your day:

Marketing General

Support Directors, general manager, our digital marketing agency and design agency as required

Be the first point of call for all marketing enquiries from suppliers? Assist in managing our relationships and marketing campaigns with our partners/suppliers

Assist with general office duties as require

Manage generic marketing inboxes/emails

Involvement in managing and developing the client database

Constantly monitor and improve the way in which we present information to clients online

Manage the invoice processing and tracking for marketing activity

Highlight sales trends for development of future marketing campaigns

Highlight marketing opportunities through supplier offers

Consolidate and communicate internally our marketing activity in a clear and concise manner

Monitoring and tracking of campaign performance

Take control of your working life: identify needs, ambitions and issues. Suggest solutions and be prepared to act upon them

Marketing Online

Involvement in electronic marketing campaigns, monitoring their success and suggesting tactics to increase return on investment

Manage social network communication across all channels to organically (and successfully) attract visitors to our websites

Management of PPC campaigns alongside our digital marketing agency

Involvement in ongoing website development and SEO improvements in order to increase visitor numbers and sign-ups

Assist with uploading and managing content to our websites including copy, offers, news, reviews etc

Coordinating regular e-shots across both brands, monitoring their success and striving to improve performance and return on investment

Marketing Offline

Involvement in print marketing campaigns, monitoring their success and suggesting tactics to increase return on investment

Involvement in media advertising and press releases when required


Setting up and running the organisational side of our various events, including some evenings

Attend supplier functions

Manage stock of all marketing collateral and event materials etc

The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:

Previous Marketing experience is desirable

Fluent in English, both written and oral

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

High attention to detail is critical

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative suite is desirable

Travel experience is a plus

Interest in Travel and Tourism

Interest in pursuing a career in Travel Marketing

Confident and capable personality

Ability to take initiative, but also follow direction

Someone who is excited by prospect of working at external events and attending marketing functions
