A cloud-based file-sharing technology company based in funky new offices near Old Street is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their marketing department. You will be working in a business with a friendly and close-knit office who have a great social culture and are looking for someone who is happy to take on responsibility from the off and contribute ideas. This is a flexible environment where you will even be able to work from home on a regular basis once you are up and running.

This is an amazing opportunity for a junior-level candidate as you will be only the second person in the team so have fantastic exposure to the full marketing mix, across all channels. Daily responsibilities will include:

Writing content for the company blog

Managing social media channels to ensure they are posting relevant, engaging content on a regular basis

Working across paid social and search advertising campaigns

Monitoring campaign results

Keeping the website update on a regular basis ensuring SEO best practices are followed

Working closely with the sales team to ensure they have relevant case studies and sales collateral where needed

Keeping the client database updated

Marketing Assistant

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

Focussed on getting into a marketing career - good understanding of marketing channels and differences between B2B/B2C

Ideally a graduate from university with a marketing degree, although this is not essential

Prior work experience in an office environment is preferred although full training will be provided

Self-starting attitude; eager to get stuck in and contribute from Day One

Any experience in graphic design (Photoshop/InDesign) or web development (HTML/CSS) a plus

Fluency in an additional European language is desirable
