Starting salary from £28,420 (subject to experience) - Join us as a Junior Property Acquisitions Manager and help turn our ambitious expansion plans into reality! We are currently recruiting for our Northfleet and Livingston property offices.


At the heart of turning our ambitious expansion plans into reality lies our Regional Property department, and playing a critical role in securing this prosperous future is our Acquisition team. To meet our exciting expansion plan, we are now looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and ambitious Graduates to join us as a Junior Manager.

We will send you on an intensive structured 3-4 month training period, where you will train away at one of our property offices. After your training is complete you will be responsible for the management and expansion of our current portfolio, you will be involved in the full acquisition cycle from initial planning through to ongoing asset management, developing relationships with key third parties along the way such as developers and Local Authorities. This role requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills as well as multi-tasking and deadline management.

Please note that interviews will be held on Friday 2nd December and start date for the position will be in the new year.

Your role

  1. Identification, negotiation and acquisition of sites
  2. Managing the planning application process
  3. Supporting company expansion plans
  4. Developing key external relationships
  5. Managing projects to improve existing stores
  6. Estate management of our freehold and leasehold assets
  7. Maintaining internal compliance
  8. Managing tight deadlines and meeting set KPI’s
  9. Supporting our company expansion plans
  10. Management of external consultants
  11. Promoting the Lidl brand to external parties

Your profile

  1. A recent Graduate in any Property/Business related discipline
  2. PC literate with strong Microsoft Office skills
  3. Highly organised and confident with a pragmatic and analytical approach
  4. An excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the business
  5. A strong multi-tasker who genuinely enjoys working to schedules and deadlines
  6. A team player who is capable of performing tasks independently and to their own initiative
  7. Motivated and proactive with an eagerness to learn and develop
  8. Experience within a Property role is desirable but not essential
  9. A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK
