Our Graduate Programme is a structured two year development programme offering talented individuals the opportunity to build valuable operational and commercial skills in a fast-moving global logistics environment.
Starting in September 2017 the programme beings with induction and our graduates enjoy a warm welcome to the business and immediately start to build their professional network.
Each of our programmes consists of rotational business placements to ensure breadth and depth of learning and experience over the two year programme. On the job learning is complemented by dedicated graduate development workshops and further professional development through sponsorship of your CIPD qualification. In addition, all graduates are part of our trainee network hub and are supported by dedicated Graduate sponsors and buddies from across the business.
Our front line business units depend on the expert advice and support of a wide range of corporate functions and these specialist teams help us to serve our customers and drive the business forward.
We operate a HR Partnering model at Kuehne + Nagel and as such we have HR Business partners and our specialist teams such as Resourcing, Talent, Development and Reward that all support the strategy and growth of our business. We help to create the culture and values which underpin our business success.
On our HR Graduate Programme your development will be tailored to ensure that you gain a broad understanding of the HR function and how we add value to the business operations and delivery to our customers. Rotating around the different HR areas you'll be working closely with the business during your placements to understand and support their strategy and objectives.
Candidates must have achieved (or expect to achieve) a 2:2 or higher in their degree, plus five GCSEs Grade A-C (including English & Maths) or equivalent.
This is a UK graduate programme with rotational placements across a variety of our sites so candidates must be fully mobile and open to rotations across the UK
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and an interest in HR within a multi-site operational environment.
A full UK driving licence and access to transport are also essential as you will be often travelling between site locations and development workshops.
In return you'll receive a salary of £25,000 per annum, a welcome bonus of £500 and a performance related pay review after 12 months.

The Assessment Centre for the HR programme will take place on 6th Dec 2016 and will be held in Birmingham. This is the only assessment date we will be running this year for HR so please do keep it free in your diary in case you are progressed to the final stage of recruitment.
