KPMG in the UK has 22 offices and is part of a global network of member firms offering Audit, Tax and Advisory services to some of the world's biggest businesses. Being part of KPMG is being part of a community of talented and innovative people, working together to have a positive, lasting impact on clients. No one type of person succeeds at KPMG; a diverse business requires diverse personalities, characters and perspectives. And with the opportunity to work across different functional sectors, there really is a place for you here.

What is Advisory?

Advisory is just what you'd expect - advising clients on their most pressing business challenges. So, whether you're consulting on organisational change, ambitious growth strategies or cyber security, there'll be every opportunity for you to showcase your intellectual agility and analytical skills.

Every client is different, so we look for diversity of thought, experience and perspective; people who can look at commercial issues from every angle. And whilst every project is uniquely challenging, you can be sure you'll have the exposure and variety you need to rapidly develop your professional skills, build your network and grow your career. From day one, you'll be part of a professional community, supported by our dedicated training and development team.

Programmes available

In Advisory, our programmes are split into two main areas - Business Consulting and Financial Advisory. Within both, there are a number of programmes to choose from. With a comprehensive offering which includes Management Consulting, Actuarial, Deal Advisory and Forensic, there's something for you. For some programmes, we'll support you to gain an industry-recognised qualification such as the ACA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Certified Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Then, after three years, your future will be whatever you want to make it.

To apply, you'll need to have or be on course for a 2:1 degree in any discipline with 300 UCAS points and a grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalents)*. However, it's not just your academic performance we're interested in - we'll assess your application by combining a number of different factors.

* Please note that entry requirements may vary for some of these programmes.

The inside track

"Here at KPMG, you really are able to help your clients. Part of this is finding the detail that they want. For example, using technology as part of a large email trail investigation to uncover the facts.

I've made some great friends along the way and a team of us got together to run the Barcelona Half Marathon in aid of mental health charity Mind. I love that there are so many opportunities to experience different things across the firm."
