KPMG 2024 Financial Modelling Graduate Programme

KPMG in the UK is part of a global organisation of independent firms that offers Audit, Consulting, Deal Advisory, Tax & Law and Technology services. Through the talent of over 16,000 people, we turn insights into opportunities, making a positive difference for businesses, people and communities.

What is Technology & Engineering?

Technology is at the heart of what we do and part of our very DNA. We’ve invested in a team of over 2,000 technologists; creating a step change in the way we work and to help us deliver broader, deeper expertise, faster than ever. Our solutions stretch across a range of specialisms from tech strategy, risk management and data & analytics, through to software engineering, cyber automation, powered applications and cloud transformation. Our tech teams have the access, capability and connectivity to make possibilities happen, blending tech and business expertise to solve complex problems that help our clients and communities to thrive.

Financial Modelling Graduate Programme

Our Financial Modelling practice works directly with clients, applying financial knowledge and technical expertise to deliver a range of services across all sectors. We build bespoke financial and operational models to help our clients make informed decisions, improve business operations and forecast effectively for the future. We develop high impact visual reports and dashboards to help clients monitor KPIs and analyse trends from large volumes of data using a range of platforms. And we use our inhouse tools for reviewing and validating clients' models to provide confidence in their use.

As a graduate on this 3-year programme, you’ll work directly with clients from day one, applying financial knowledge and technical expertise to deliver a range of services across all sectors. You’ll benefit from a number of training modules designed to develop your productivity and technical skills. As you progress your Performance Manager will work with you to identify your goals and tailor learning and development opportunities, with support from our diverse team, you’ll be empowered to thrive and make your mark.

Training and Benefits

With the KPMG community by your side, you’ll have the support to grow in your own way, gaining learning for a lifetime. You’ll have access to technology-focused learning and an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development.

We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.

Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in offices or at client sites. We trust our people to be where our clients need them to be, with our client-facing colleagues working together in person as often as needed. You’ll be empowered by the technology that supports us to work flexibly and our collaborative office spaces, building friendships and shared experiences, innovating, and learning together.

Seeing the whole picture

KPMG is a place where you can be yourself and give your best - whoever you are and whatever your degree background. For applications to this programme, you’ll be expected to demonstrate a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline. While you don’t necessarily need to be a technology guru, we are looking for people who have a keen interest in technology and a desire to learn a range of development languages. We look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See the specific programme page on our Careers Portal for what we look for and our ‘How to Apply’ section for detailed application guidance.
