Our Programmes
The ISS Graduate Management Trainee Programme is your opportunity to
forge a bright future in FM leadership, joining more than 345,000
employees globally, serving over 30 countries worldwide and beginning a
journey into an exciting and ever-adapting industry.
Starting in September 2023, you’ll tour ISS on an operational, regional,
or global level, exploring multiple roles, responsibilities and
cross-functional projects. Yet it’s your personal growth that forms the
backbone of everything you’ll do. With the assistance of your Country
Champion, a dedicated personal mentor from our national management team
and your Graduate Alumni Buddy you’ll develop a Graduate development
plan (GDP) that will follow and support your management journey
throughout.
We have a select number of Graduate Management Trainee positions
available across the 2 programmes below:
UK Management Trainee Programme
Our UK Graduate Management Trainee’s undertake three six-month
placements, across a range of key roles within operations, a central
function or contract, with the opportunity to relocate nationwide across
your placements. This not only means variety, but the chance to broaden
your commercial awareness and skill set, gaining an insight into ISS UK
in its entirety.
Global Management Trainee Programme
Our Global Graduate Management Trainee’s complete three placements
across key operational and leadership development activities at a
country, regional and global level. The Global programme offers the
opportunity to experience a three-month international placement in one
of our other ISS countries, experiencing our global footprint and
operations.

What do we look for in an ISS Graduate Management Trainee?
Be who you are. We celebrate the curious, the committed and the
ambitious. As a candidate for our Graduate Management Trainee Programme,
you’ll embrace complex challenges, demonstrate analytical thinking, and
support customers with an efficient, executive mindset.
You’ll need to hold a business-related degree plus relevant work
experience from a previous role or internship in similar commercial
capacities – such as account management, sales or consultancy is
preferable. You’ll be an excellent communicator, balancing ambition with
empathy, and expertise with inquisition. You’re an independent thinker,
yet never lose sight of your team, colleagues, or client.
