International Delegate Sales Executive


Salary £20,572 + OTE up to £32,000 in first year

The company


Our client is one of the UK's leading conference producers which employs over 400 staff. They produce international events and conferences in a range of sectors including energy, finance, automotive, life sciences and maritime through B2B sales. With their own telesales training academy, this position also includes international travel to attend some of the conference and events. The company will pay £250 a year towards a gym membership, 2-4-1 deals in the company shares and volunteer charity days which can be taken during working hours, uncapped commission, a brilliant bonus structure and a rooftop garden! The role


  • As a Delegate Sales Executive, your role will be to sell high value tickets through means of calling, meetings, networking and advertising campaigns to generate new business
  • You will be expected to advise customers on the range and suitability of the events and courses ran in order to help their business
  • You will be placed into one of the sectors the company works with, be that life sciences, maritime, energy, finance or automotive, therefore there are also elements of cross selling
  • The vast majority of the role is calling out to potential clients; however, the clients will know of the company, or will have attended a conference or received training previously, therefore the role will lead into account management
  • International travel is included, as you will attend the conferences that you sell the tickets for around 2-4 times a year, which is all paid for by the company

About you


  • Degree educated graduate from a good university with a 2:1 or above
  • Resilient, professional, entrepreneurial and most importantly organised
  • Articulate and excellent telephone manner
  • Confident and commercial awareness
  • Ability to build professional rapport over the phone
  • No experience in delegate sales is needed, but experience in a professional business environment is preferred
