Your role
In this varied role you’ll play an active part in engineering design, modification, construction and operational support of instrumentation equipment for offshore oil and gas facilities. These will range from field measurements and indications, to industrial IT networks. And from safety protection and control valves, to systems for control and monitoring, shutdown and safety, and fire and gas detection. Plus satellite, radio fibre optic, coaxial and hardwired comms. What’s more, you’ll gain practical experience in a different discipline to expand your business knowledge and acumen.
What you’ll bring
We’ll expect you to have or expect a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree spanning a selection of the following elements: electrics and electronics, instrumentation, communications. And of course, you’ll be keen to keep learning.
You should also demonstrate:
- A high level of numeracy and IT skills
- A real eye for detail
- A collaborative approach to work
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel offshore
