By growing our future skills and helping colleagues build their own fulfilling career paths, we are making Lloyds Banking Group a great place to work. From the physical environments we offer and all the ways we recognise and reward our people, we are shaping our culture and future-proofing how we work, so it’s enjoyable and meaningful for us all.

What you’ll learn on the Human Resources Graduate Scheme
On this scheme, you’ll develop a broad range of HR expertise, gain experience across different disciplines, and get all the support you need to help you work towards a professional qualification and develop your career.
As part of your induction, you’ll join a bootcamp in all things People and Places. After this, you’ll rotate through a variety of teams – either specialist centres of expertise like Talent, Recruitment, Learning and Reward, or generalist teams that work directly with the business.
Not only will this give you a complete view of our function but also a strong foundation as a multi-skilled HR professional. From people policies to analysing data, designing learning curriculums to understanding what makes our culture work, you’ll learn the many and varied ways we help our teams be at their best and discover the kind of career path you could develop into.
The work you could be doing depending on your placement:
- Supporting Business Partners and leaders to design and implement impactful people plans using data
- Supporting hiring managers to make the way they recruit even more effective
- Getting involved in projects to enhance or redesign the ways we recognise and reward our people
- Helping to deliver organisational changes to make the way we work more efficient
- Being part of initiatives to help our organisation become more inclusive and diverse
- Leading the creation of new learning propositions
