Description
As a graduate at Petrofac, you’ll work with world-class experts on some of the most significant energy projects in the world. You’ll join us in our mission to design, build, manage and maintain infrastructure for diverse clients including some of the world’s leading energy companies. At every step of the way, you can look forward to friendly advice and guidance from your mentors and colleagues. Together we’ll enable clients to meet the world’s evolving energy needs.
What we offer you
You’ll receive internal, external and on-the-job training designed to give you professional HR specialist skills that last your whole career. You’ll also have the advantage of personal development programmes to build up your interpersonal and leadership skills.
Crucially, you’ll make a real contribution from day one through hands-on work experience projects that broaden your professional experience and knowledge of Petrofac.
Your role
You might join us in one of two specialist HR areas. Both are vital to the success of our business.
As a HR Business Partner you’d get involved in everything from onboarding employees, through to handling grievance and absence cases, or assisting with talent and performance programmes.
Or, as a member of our Global Reward Team, you’d support the running of key projects including the annual salary review, gender pay gap reporting, benchmarking, and renewal of benefits.
Whichever path you follow, you’ll get involved in data analysis and reporting. You’ll also give presentations to senior management. And through it all you’ll work closely with employees and managers for the good of the whole business, providing advice on your own area of expertise as well as our cornerstone diversity and inclusion strategy.
What you’ll bring
We’ll expect you to have or expect a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. And of course, you’ll be keen to keep learning.
You should also demonstrate:
- A naturally proactive approach to your work
- The ability to work on your own initiative and generate ideas
- Great communication skills
- The ability to build good working relationships with diverse people at all levels
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Skills in using the Microsoft Office suite and Outlook to analyse, communicate and present information from a range of sources
- The ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines
Our promise
We recruit, reward and develop our people based on merit regardless of race, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, marital status or disability. We value our people and treat everyone who works for or with Petrofac fairly and without discrimination.
