You’ll develop a solid understanding of Health, Safety and Wellbeing application within our company, all while earning £30,988!

About the opportunity

Over the course of the programme, you will move through a series of rotations across various manufacturing sites and positions. You will be implementing systems and processes, and influencing culture and behaviours, to drive our H&S agenda and enable the continuity and efficiency of those sites.

You’ll gain unique insight into how our sites work from all levels to really understand how we work. You’ll be encouraged to put your learning into play with projects that are assigned to you during the programme. Responsibilities you could own on the programme include:

  • Learning and reporting on how management systems operate from the Factory Floor through to Strategic Management levels
  • Aiding in the implementation of key projects and fulfilling the objectives of our sites

•Providing support and direction for Operational Management to maintain our ISO45001 management systems and legal compliance for site manufacturing and distribution

  • Assisting and influencing our behavioural-based safety programme (Road Map to Zero Harm)

By the end of your training period, you should be ready to take on a permanent role within either a site or central team function!

About you

We’re looking for proactive, resilient recent or final year graduates with a 2:1 (or equivalent) in a Health & Safety or Engineering related subject area. You’ll need to be comfortable dealing with challenges effectively, as well as possess the ability to work on your own initiative. Other qualities we’d like to see include:

  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • General IT knowledge
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel to sites across the UK
