As our Graduate in Health and Wellbeing, you’ll be working with the Health and Wellbeing Team to develop and implement a Health Surveillance programme and measures to prevent harm to health to our people resulting from work activities; liaising closely with the businesses to ensure consistency of approach and application.
You’ll also work with the Environmental Team and HSSA Advisors to understand the current approach for environmental and personal monitoring, guidance provided to the business and actions to reduce exposure. In addition, you’ll work alongside business managers and the Health and Wellbeing Team to review the HS provision for agency workers and work with other sector industries to benchmark and deliver best practice solutions.
A qualified graduate, you’ll be adaptable and have strong relationship building skills as you will be liaising with stakeholders across the business at all levels, as such you’ll have good influence and persuasion skills to support you in your role. You’ll be a team player and be highly motivated with good communication, organisational, numeracy, IT and literacy skills.
Whilst we don’t expect full knowledge or experience of Health and Safety legislation and the recycling and waste management industry, an understanding or awareness would be beneficial and desirable.
