This post is a graduate trainee role in public health, whose role will be to contribute to three core areas of Public Health in Thurrock.

• Health Improvement & Commissioning

• Place, Environment and Communities

• Healthcare Public Health and Health Intelligence

The post holder will work within the public health team and work closely with other parts of the Local Authority, the NHS, service providers, community groups, service users and healthcare professionals to improve the health and well being of the population of Thurrock.

Over a 2 - 3 year period the post-holder will rotate into different parts of the public health team in order to gain experience of the three core areas of public health listed above. In each area, the post-holder will support Public Health Managers to deliver an agreed portfolio of work.
