Sogeti UK are hiring graduates to join us as Trainee Test Consultants! We are looking for graduates who want to work as part of a growing professional services company within the field of IT / technology. Sogeti is widely regarded as a thought leader in the IT and Software Testing space and we employ more than 20,000 people worldwide. We’re also part of the Capgemini group, an organisation with more than 200,000 employees so we offer a fantastic platform to launch your career in IT. You will enjoy working as part of a team initially and later in your career as an individual dealing directly with our customers and stakeholders.
Over the course of the graduate programme, you will gain exposure to a range of technologies, project work and business sectors. You will also have access to a range of learning opportunities including the ISTQB Foundation course in Software Testing (an industry recognised course) and interaction with some of Sogeti's test experts. You are encouraged to own your development and make full use of the opportunities presented to you.
What you will need:
• Minimum 2:2 degree (IT, Science, Maths or Engineering discipline)
• A genuine passion for technology
• Excellent communication, innovation and collaboration skills
• Coding experience (from University modules or self-study) with OOP languages such as Java, C#, C++ or any Open Source (Python, Ruby, PHP etc)
The minimum entry requirement for the Sogeti graduate scheme is a 2.2 honours degree in an IT, Science or Maths discipline. As a consultancy we are looking for the right mix of interpersonal skills with a desire to work in an IT / technical environment.
Graduate Consultants will be recruited to be based from our London Digital Assurance & Test practice but should be willing to travel to work on customer sites across the UK (we will expense your extra travel and hotels if needed).
If you want to travel as part of your job this is for you! Full employee mobility is essential as we have customers across the UK and our consultants work where the customers are based.
The assessment days will take place in June/July with the successful graduates starting on 28th August 2018 (Note - you must not have any long annual leave/holidays planned for the first six weeks, due to training but taking a day’s annual leave to attend graduation is fine).
Sogeti UK positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity. We foster an inclusive culture that enables everyone to achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilling career with us. Capgemini / Sogeti is ranked in the Top 100 employers in the latest Stonewall Workplace Equality Index
