Expand your tech stack with our client facing software development...

Our client are responsible for creating code at the cutting edge of technology - for some of the most well known brands in the UK. As an associate software engineer, you’ll have the responsibility of helping these companies transform their digital presence - to win in the marketplace. We’ve already helped companies like ASOS, Thomas Cook and TalkTalk to create new web and mobile platforms, implement best practise in agile delivery and establish useable code which can be developed once we’ve gone.

Sound good?

The beauty of working with a varied client base means that your tech stack will alter with every project. Languages you’ll get to use will range from Java, Python and Javascript. We love modern frameworks too, so get ready to use Node, Angular and React. Before you ask, we’re obsessed with Agile. We get our best results when we work in this flexible, fast paced environment - and our stand ups are renowned for being pretty energetic.

Before we send you off to our clients, we’ll invite you to an intensive 4 week bootcamp. We’ll train you up with technical expertise, immerse you in commercial training and most importantly let you create bonds with your new team mates. (We even throw in a £10 lunch voucher every day so you can catch up with your squad over some food).

We get that things change pretty quickly in the world of tech, so we’ll support you to upskill your programming capacity. We’ll whisk you away with your squad for 12 training days a year to refresh your coding, giving you an opportunity to upskill and hack with your colleagues.

So you think you’ve got what it takes to work at one of the best companies in the UK? (We’re not exaggerating, we were in The Sunday Times Top 100). This is what we’ll need from you:

2:1 or above from a technical degree (Comp Sci, we’re looking at you)

Tenacity and can do attitude to coding

Professional client communication

A willingness to continuously develop and upskill yourself and others around you

Passion for all things tech: are you a stickler for GitHub, do you teach yourself new languages, are you always taking apart your Raspberry Pi? We want to know!
