Graduate Research Consultant – Private Equity Markets – Executive Search

The company specialise in the private equity market and recruit junior to mid-senior investment professionals. The sectors they focus on range from Large Cap Private Equity to Sovereign Wealth Funds to Growth Equity and Venture Capital.

They work with quality clients across the market including The Blackstone Group, Apax Partners and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. As a result, you will be working with a client portfolio of some of the most well known Private Equity firms across the globe.

The Role

The company take a very consultative approach to Executive Search and pride themselves on the specialist service they provide to their clients.

As such, the market is very research focused and Graduates will spend a lot of time researching the market in order to become a real expert in their craft.

Other aspects of the role include:

  1. Engaging with businesses (face to face or over the telephone) in order to develop professional relationships
  2. Negotiationg new business contracts
  3. Placing top calibre candidates in to high paying roles
  4. Headhunting candidates
  5. Closing businesss deals

The Requirements

  1. Ideally a 2:1 degree (Top Tier University)
  2. A sporting background
  3. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  4. Resilient and competitive nature
  5. Ambitious and keen to succeed
  6. Hardworking
  7. Financially motivated
