Location: London with the intent to transition to USA; either New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco

We are looking forward to growing our services in the London market and are looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In addition to our office in London, we have 26 offices in the United States and are continuing to grow on a global basis.  


Overview


Would you like the opportunity to join the fastest-growing Project and Cost Management consultancy in the United States who have recently expanded their offices to London. 

In this role, you will be a member of a highly reputable Quantity Surveying team. The QS team delivers solutions to clients in the areas of Conceptual Estimating, Budget Development, Cost Planning, Feasibility Studies, Value Management, Economic Forecasting, BOQ Preparation, Cost Reporting, Final Accounting, Tax Analysis, Life Cycle Costing, and more.


Role & Responsibilities


An Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be expected to work alongside and report to senior Surveyors in the delivery of Projects, with responsibility for and contribution to the following:

·        Preparation of Cost Plans, utilising in-house and published data

·        Tender preparation, including measurement and item descriptions forming Bills of Quantities

·        Preparation of contract documentation

·        Post-contract cost control, including on-site measurement and pricing of variations

Preparation and analysis of final accounts

 

Qualification and Education

Candidates should hold GCSE Mathematics and English at grades A-C

You must be have or be expecting to achieve a 2:1 in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management or have relevant work experience .Candidates with a related qualification and appropriate work experience will be considered.

  2. Proficient command of Excel
