Graduate Quatitiatve Analyst
6 Month FTC - Potential for Perm - Immediate Start
£28,000 pro rata

As a Graduate Quantitative Analyst for a industry-leading trading company of raw commodities, including sugar, cocoa, cashews and cotton, you will be taking advantage of an internationally-recognised brand. Operating in multiple markets across 70 different countries, this well-established organisation founded 25 years ago is now opening up a new role where you can showcase your analytical skills and mould the role into your own.

The Role:
* Acquiring and validating large quantities of data in order to identify key trends and opportunities for improvement
* Analysing data patterns on specific commodities to provide meaningful insights
* Reporting these insights back to the Chief Trading Officer with solutions as to where developments can be made on current stocks

The Candidate:

* A highly academic individual with proven success in numerical and science-based subjects, including an A in A-Level Mathematics and an undergraduate degree from a top university to hit the ground running
* Advanced knowledge of Excel including macros, along with statistical modelling and working proficiency in R, Python or C++ to be fully capable to acquire and present the data findings
* Passionate about data and having an interest in agriculture and business to understand the sector and its complexities
