The company
Our client is a global agri-business organisation who specialise in seed-to-shelf supply chain. Established over 25 years ago, this innovative business are market leaders in the supply and trade of raw commodities including cotton, sugar, cocoa and almonds. They are known for their innovative and ethical business practices and now seeking a Graduate Quantitative Analyst to augment their trading strategies

Graduate Quantitative Analyst

The role:
• As a Graduate Quantitative Analyst you will be responsible for:
• Collating large amounts of data from both internal and external sources for your analysis of your specified raw commodity's market
• Looking for trends in these data sets
• Validating these trends and looking for further relationships in this data
• Once these patterns are validated you must present your findings to the Head of Trading to help and support his trading strategies
• This role absolutely has the potential to become a full time permanent role!

Your profile
• To be considered for this opportunity you must:
• Have a degree in a highly numerate discipline, ideally with some econometrics or financial mathematics modules
• Have studied at a top 20 university
• Have achieved a minimum of an A grade at Maths A level
• Be at an advanced level of Microsoft Excel
• Have strong Computer skills in python, C++, R or similar
• Be an autonomous worker and enjoy manipulating data
