This role will be supporting the administration and delivery of Zephyr Programme projects within Airbus Defence and Space, UAS division and would
suit someone with looking to develop a career in Project Management.


Tasks


¤ Provide log management support to Senior Project Managers. This will involve updating project plans and schedules, risk registers, issues and lessons logs
¤ Develop and update weekly work package reports in conjunction with work package leads
¤ Act as a project assistant on key Zephyr projects
¤ Take on the project management of smaller projects where required
¤ Help ensure all projects are managed to cost, time and quality
¤ Provide support to the Project Manager with client interaction


Reporting
¤ Reporting to the Head of Projects, Zephyr, within UAS, Airbus Defence and Space.


Accountabilities
¤ Support the timely delivery of cost constrained high altitude, long endurance flight projects


This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.


Skills


¤ Qualified to degree level, or equivalent working experience.
¤ Proficient in MS Project and MS Office inc. Excel, Word, and Power Point with recent practical experience
¤ Good communication skills and a personable approach that will unify team members who are often working under pressure.
¤ Ability to work autonomously once tasked with an activity
¤ Knowledge and / or experience of delivering innovative, high technology systems operating in a harsh and remote environment
¤ Knowledge and / or experience supporting the management of high value, technology development projects including systems integration activities
¤ Experience of working in engineering, ideally aerospace is advantageous but not essential.
¤ Able to achieve SC level security clearance

This role will be based in Farnborough and will receive the full Airbus Defence & Space Graduate programme benefit package including an annual Salary of £27,000, plus a welcome payment of £2,000.
