As our Graduate Project Engineer, working in our Sales and Collections business area, you’ll provide project management and delivery assurance to the business enabling it to meet its operational and long-term objectives. You’ll also ensure that projects are delivered according to best practice project management techniques and standards appropriate to the scale and type of projects and delivered to the identified business benefits.
With a degree in Engineering and some work experience of delivery of projects to cost, quality and time parameters, it will be the responsibility of the Graduate Project Engineer to deliver projects in accordance with all technical, health, safety, environmental, quality and security requirements and that they comply with legislative, statutory financial and company requirements.
As our Graduate Project Engineer, you’ll have up to date evidence of effective project management, an understanding of Design, Engineering, Procurement and Construction alongside and understanding of Health and Safety legislation, planning regulations and environmental legislation. You’ll be a strong communicator, a logical yet innovative thinker and have an ability to work to deadlines with multiple projects and conflicting priorities. You’ll be required to liaise with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels therefore the ability to be a good relationship builder is key.
Experience or knowledge of the waste industry or environmental services is desirable but not expected.
The role will be based in Taunton with UK travel required, therefore you must hold a full driving license.
