Our Graduate Project Controls & Cost Estimating Engineers contribute to exciting projects. You will be functioning as part of a team, providing assistance to other engineers and working across a range of Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design and PMC opportunities in Green Hydrogen, Blue Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Waste to Biofuels as well as traditional energy projects including gas treatment and hydrocarbons for international clients.

The aim of your role will be to encourage innovative solutions and approaches to problems while keeping our values at the front of what you do. Day-to-day, you will:

  • Develop project reporting around current progress, forecast to completion and cost reports.
  • Work with project planners and lead engineers to understand the status of critical activities on a project.
  • Work with document control to issue documentation, markup progress and maintain a register.
  • Work with IT to setup and maintain project websites and portals, maintain folder structures and security permissions.
  • Analyse performance against identified project KPIs and report deviations to the project controls manager and project managers.
  • Support corporate implementation of project controls procedures, systems and tools.
  • Attend risk management workshops and maintain register, mitigations and resultant actions through to completion.
  • Support project managers with monthly project review slide preparation including risks & concerns, commercial delivery, resourcing etc.
