As one of the world’s leading professional services organisations, attracting the right talent continues to be paramount. Investing in our people is central to our mission and inclusive culture. Whether it be empowering our people to learn new skills for the digital world, to reimagine the possible on how we work with clients, or to be open-minded on how we care for and support each other, we want to create an environment where our people can be the best they can be.
What we do in Audit
It’s an exciting time to join us in Audit. Quality is at the heart of how we build trust in society. We bring passionate people together to work inclusively and celebrate our successes. We put the team first and pride ourselves on our global reputation as a trusted place to do business. We recognise Audit as a deep specialism and give our people access to the best opportunities and lots of variety. Our people challenge and are open to challenge themselves as we work to solve important problems for the organisations we audit. They take pride in their work and profession, working together with flexibility, agility and intelligence. They put the team first and are passionate about quality in everything that they do.
By joining us you’ll work in an environment that inspires you and gives you an active role in designing and shaping the future of PwC’s Audit. We drive change through innovation, imagination and creativity. We embrace diversity both in our people and the work you’ll do. You’ll have an exceptional career experience working with and learning from the best.
We have graduate Audit opportunities in:
• Audit - You’ll be providing market leading audit services to an unprecedented range of clients including one of the largest shares of FTSE 100 companies of any UK audit firm. Our clients range from leading multinational companies to start-ups, from family businesses and governments, to charities and private individuals. Within financial services our clients cover industries within banking and capital markets, private equity, insurance, and consumer finance.
• Centre of Excellence - Our Audit Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams are based in four locations - Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow, all providing innovative solutions for our clients across the UK. As part of our CoE you’ll utilise cutting edge technology to work closely with our Audit teams from across the country, improving the quality, efficiency, and innovation in the more complex areas of an audit. Our CoE teams primarily focus on Pensions Assets and Liabilities, Share Based Payments and the Audit of Tax.
• Digital Audit - We're a specialist team within our Audit practice that combines a mix of technology, data, business and accounting expertise to how we audit clients across all industries. We’re constantly investing in audit technology and the skills of our people to keep up with the rapid pace of change and to deliver trust that is deeper, broader and more forward-looking.
- Digital Audit Advanced Analytics - The DA³ team is part of the larger UK Audit practice. We’ve invested significantly in innovative technology to understand how our client’s processes, technologies and systems operate in order to provide a fair view on how they address their risks.
We do this through the implementation of robotics, AI, machine learning and advanced analytics tools, leveraging the best technologies currently on the market.
What you’ll gain
Audit, Centre of Excellence and Digital Audit (PQ) - During our three year programme, you will also study towards the Chartered Accountant (ACA or CA) qualification.
Digital Audit (non-PQ) - You’ll follow a structured technical training curriculum which will allow you to develop the deeper technical and data skills required as a technology auditor. What you get out of it is the opportunity to build the skills and experience that can open many doors to you, taking your career in whatever direction you choose. This programme does not offer the ACA qualification. If you’re interested in studying for your ACA please apply to our Digital Audit PQ pathway which has a more financial focus and includes the opportunity to study towards the Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.
What you’ll need
You'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1 based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
Explore. Inspire. Reimagine.
We have graduate and undergraduate opportunities in Actuarial, Audit, Consulting, Deals, Legal, Risk Assurance, Tax or Technology.
