Graduate PR and Events Manager

Location: London
Start date: Oct-2017

Marketing, PR and events role at one of the coolest content creation companies around!

The Company

Our client is a video development company that creates sixty-second long videos for companies to use in their marketing campaigns. The company's service covers the entire lifespan of their videos- from planning and creation, to publishing, to tracking and analysing their progress. With offices in Ghent, Brussels, London, Sofia, Stockholm and Singapore, the company has grown from zero to 65 people in just three years, and won some big-name clients like Microsoft, WWF, Unicef and Coca Cola. Now, they're looking for a Graduate PR & Events Manager to help promote their product at some of the hottest events in the business.

The Role

As PR & Events Manager, you'll be responsible for arranging, managing and marketing all the company's events. You'll be given a budget to buy tickets to the events you think the company should be at, organise and manage the stalls, and run all the marketing. You'll also produce some of your own events, like talks and workshops, and invite attendees. The company see events as their most lucrative way of winning new clients, so your role will be vital.

This is a great first role for a smart and creative grad who's ready for a challenge- you'll have lots of autonomy and responsibility, and travel to events and client meetings all over the UK. There's also huge opportunity for progression- you'll be joining a team of just three people in the UK, so as the company grows, you can expect to move into more senior roles.

The Culture

The company has a proper startup vibe- it's based in the trendy WeWork offices in Shoreditch (Google them!) and the team is young, ambitious and creative. You'll be the second grad Venatrix has placed in the London team- and we hear great things from the first!

We're looking for a graduate who's passionate about events and marketing. You should be a fearless, proactive person with lots of ideas, and the mind of a marketer- this role will be what you make it!
