About the role
Technology Services - Applications Team Graduate Officer - this rare opportunity offers you the chance to work and learn from a team of experienced Project Leads and Business Analysts who work directly with our Social Care and Education teams to provide advice, business process modelling and develop the business critical computer systems that support key areas within the authority. The successful graduate will work alongside the teams to provide advice and information as well as get actively involved in support and development projects.

About you
Have you got what it takes?


You will have graduated within the last two years, and you'll be able to demonstrate a real interest and passion for working in Information Technology as well as being able to show us that you have the potential to positively take on the challenges you'll face in these roles.


Your communication skills need to be top notch and we're looking for someone who is capable of managing a complex workload, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders (excellent interpersonal skills is a must) and a willingness to get stuck in and make a difference. We need passionate people who want to help shape the future. You're quick to understand, curious, keen to explore new challenges and communicate complex information with ease


You'll share our organisation's values too. That means you're ambitious, caring, collaborative, and take accountability for your actions. You have (or expect) a 2:1 degree, preferably but not limited in one of the following subjects (or similar):


• Business Administration
• Computer Science
• Public Administration
• Public Management
• Business Studies
