Our UK Graduate Programme provides exceptional graduates the opportunity to master managerial and technical skills. Over the two year period it combines rotational placements with focused training and the possibility of European assignments as well as further personal development and the chance to build your professional network.

From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and even with customers and suppliers. This, along with training provided works to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to take the next step of your career following the programme's conclusion.

Are you looking for a company that, genuinely, invest in their staff? Interested in working on Carrier Grade network designs that help people get in contact with people - when they REALLY need to? Sick of working on legacy tech and want to immerse yourself in modern IP network technology? Interested in working on end-to-end designs - from presales all the way to installation? Then this is the role for you!

At Airbus we rely on our Engineers to keep our Carrier Grade network up and running, which means we invest heavily in our staff. We're happy to progress people through professional certification and to provide study leave. This role can be based at Stevenage OR Hawthorn. You will be working with a team of 7 Engineers who belong to a bigger team of 50 Engineers within the Skynet 5 Engineering team.

Occasional travel is expected to the Ground Station installations and customer locations in the UK.

This post would suit someone interested in becoming a Network Design Architect, Technical Architect, Technical IP Consultant/SME or Senior Systems Engineer.

The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.
