Graduate Materials Resource Planning Analyst.

Working in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton (KEEN)

The company:
Sentinel Manufacturing offers design, machining and assembly expertise to an international market, specialising in CNC machining, predominantly of aluminium and ferrous components. The company is based in Shrewsbury (Battlefield), Shropshire and has a manufacturing plant in India.

The Role:
To support their ambitious growth plans, an exciting project has arisen to analyse the company’s manual/ spreadsheet based systems and processes from purchasing through to finished product, and create streamlined, integrated and totally reliable processes which will be managed by Sage 200. The successful candidate will take responsibility for this project and will be fully supported by the company and an academic mentor from the University of Wolverhampton.

Sentinel is looking for an outstanding graduate with a strong degree in Computer Science, or Manufacturing Engineering, or Logistics / Supply Chain Management or similar, ideally with some experience within an engineering and/or manufacturing environment and processes. A strong understanding of Materials Resource Planning (MRP) is required. Some experience of Sage 200 or equivalent MRP systems would be advantageous but not essential.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, an excellent communicator, have a keen eye for detail and be capable of finding creative solutions to technical problems.

Salary of £23,000 up to £27,000 is offered, dependent upon experience. This is truly an outstanding opportunity for a new or recent graduate to manage a project from start to finish. Although a fixed term project for 12 months, there is a very strong possibility of a permanent role beyond that period.
