Lowfield Timber Frames Limited working in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton (KEEN)

Lowfield Timber Frames Ltd (www.lowfieldtimberframes.co.uk) is part of the successful SJ Roberts Construction Group. The company is one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of timber frames for the construction industry, supplying frames and kits for social housing, hotels, schools, residential houses, care homes and commercial premises.
To support their exciting growth plans, Lowfield Timber Frames is looking to establish a marketing and communications function and wishes to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Graduate Marketing Officer to lead the project. The position is based in the beautiful, rural village of Marton, close to Welshpool and Shrewsbury. Candidates must be prepared to relocate or travel to Marton daily.
With a proven understanding of market research, data analysis and developing effective B2B marketing and communications strategies, the successful candidate will be able to use offline and digital media tools to develop exploitable market intelligence and to create strategies and tactical plans that can achieve financial targets.
Being a confident communicator with highly developed interpersonal, presentational and networking skills, the successful candidate will be able to liaise with a diverse client group in order to raise awareness for the company’s strengths, influence customer purchasing decisions and build sustainable client relationships. They will have strong writing skills and take responsibility for PR, press releases, website content and promotional literature and will be able to use their creativity, innovation and enthusiasm to manage multiple deadlines to ensure the project is completed in line with Lowfield’s objectives.
Qualified to degree level in Marketing, Business or other related disciplines, along with a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, the successful candidate will have a portfolio of knowledge that can be used to add value to this exciting project.
In return for providing their expertise, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an ambitious organisation and lead a business critical project that will help shape the future direction of the organisation. They will be mentored throughout the duration of the project by an experienced academic from the University of Wolverhampton and by the Managing Director of Lowfield Timber Frames, making this an outstanding opportunity for a new or recent graduate.
Although this is initially a 12 month contract, there is a very real expectation that this will become a permanent role.
