The Sports Consultancy is looking for an experienced data champion to join its growing team and play a key role in our Rights Marketing and Consulting function. We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for data and analytics to input to the development of a suite of analytical tools and deliver projects to our wide and varied client base.

The role:
• Uses numeric analytical skills to process large volumes of data and identify trends and opportunities
• Comprehensive data analysis to develop an in-depth understanding of our clients
• Interpretation of results, identification of trends and effective communication to the team
• Develops a detailed understanding of the functionality of research tools to identify enhancements and improvements
• Day to day management of multiple project deliveries
• Supports Senior Consultants to design and produce high quality deliverables to reflect and exceed client needs
• Champions and promotes the functionality and applicability of the tools across the agency
• Is actively engaged with our partner agency to coordinate project delivery, improvements to existing methodology and to raise the standard of client management
• Uses an evidenced based approach to deliver a succinct argument to clients
• Comfortable presenting information in person and facilitating client discussion
• Contributes to the wider business and practice development objectives of the Firm

The role will be rewarded with a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and 23 days holiday per annum.

Whilst this role is based in our London office, we have clients across the globe and some travel is required

Experience required:
• 2-3 years’ experience in a media agency or sponsorship role (agency, brand or rights holder)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the creation of macros and programming applications using Visual Basic for Applications
• Ability to create web-based platforms/dashboards and converting Excel programme to web-based format and manipulating and displaying data in digestible format
• Proven analytical and research techniques
• Preference to those who have experience of the sports sponsorship evaluation, media or commercial rights sector with particular preference to those with experience of media buying
