Structural Stairways is a market leader in the field of architectural metalwork, specialising in feature staircases, balustrades, structural glass, balconies, canopies and secondary steelwork.

An exciting project has arisen for an Graduate Manufacturing Operations Analysis to implement an information system (StruMIS), allowing the company to efficiently collect, track and utilise data throughout the entire manufacturing process.

The company is looking for an outstanding graduate with a degree in Engineering or similar, with an understanding of management information systems and operations management.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, an excellent communicator, with a genuine interest in manufacturing processes and be capable of liaising with the systems provider to find creative solutions to system problems.

Experience within an engineering and/or manufacturing environment with exposure to the engineering field of fabrication and welding would be valuable but not essential and some experience of resource planning and purchasing production systems such as Materials Resource Planning (MRP) systems would also be advantageous.

Salary up to £27,000 dependent upon experience, with 3 month review. The role will be based in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. This is a fixed term project for 12 months, with a strong possibility of extending the employment beyond that period. The role is supported by an academic mentor from the University of Wolverhampton until the end of October 2018, making it an outstanding opportunity for either a new graduate or a graduate with 1-4 years’ experience.
