Skills for Care is the sector skills council for adult social care in England. We help create a better-led, more skilled and valued adult social care workforce, by providing practical tools and support to help adult social care organisations in England recruit, develop and lead their workforce.

If this is you, our 2018 Graduate Management Programme gives you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience with forward-thinking health and social care employers.

Developed in partnership with the NHS Leadership Academy, the Department of Health and social care employers, it’s designed to fast-track
graduates into leadership roles in the ever-growing health and social care sector.

The programme consists of a 12-month work placement with a social care organisation, including a secondment within a health care setting. During which time you’ll achieve a fully funded management qualification and a health and social care leadership qualification. You will also develop the essential skills, knowledge and strategies to become an effective leader so that you can make a real impact on the lives of others.

To be eligible to apply you’ll need a 2:2 or equivalent in any subject, and a grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).

Successful candidates will start the programme on 11 January 2018.

A full-time paid position for a minimum of 12 months – you’ll be paid a bursary of £20,000 for the 12 months
