Role Responsibility
We’re looking for a Graduate Innovation Analyst to support our Innovation Team in identifying, analysing and streamlining new and existing business processes. If you’re organised, an innovative thinker and knowledgeable about Microsoft Power Platform, this could be your next career opportunity.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the team on the Council’s digital-first vision, embracing Microsoft’s Power Platform and M365 suite to deliver a better user experience for our staff and residents. Reporting to the Technology Innovation Manager, you’ll join a multi-disciplinary team, delivering technological solutions from analysis and design to development and testing.
You’ll define requirements for digital solutions, identifying and mapping current processes and streamlining them into a tailored digital design that meets business needs. You’ll be involved in every part of the delivery life cycle, ensuring that requirements can be traced in the design, build, test, tender and evaluation phases, so that solutions align with business goals.
About You
To be eligible for this position, you’ll have a 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline, and GCSE Grade A-C (4) or above in English Language and Maths. A willingness to work towards an Improvement Practitioner apprenticeship is essential, as is a commitment to further professional development. You’ll also have experience working to a structured methodology, mapping processes and engaging with stakeholders in projects of various sizes.
An excellent communicator, you’ll lead workshops, collaborate with team members and present technical and non-technical processes to a range of audiences. Acting on initiative, you’ll be proud to take responsibility for your work and use your knowledge of user experience to create informed solutions.
