Are you a proactive and outgoing individual who loves all things animals and is eager to solidify your career in Events?

A leading Sunday Times Fast Track 100 supplier of health supplements for pets is currently seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join their team as an Events Assistant. This is a varied opportunity where your role as the Events Assistant will see you organising the schedule and logistics of events to be attended by the company. You will also take on the role of a Brand/Show Ambassador during events, where you will be responsible for interacting with event attendees and selling the company's products. In return, you will receive a very generous remuneration package, be able to work in an exciting and fast-growing organisation as well as being able to progress into an Events Co-ordinator/Events Manager role.

The role:

Organising the schedule and logistics of events to ensure that they run smoothly and according to plan.

Attending up to 55 shows/events throughout the year (including weekends - time off granted in lieu).

Acting as a Brand/Show Ambassador at events and actively interact with customers to ultimately increase brand awareness and achieve sales.

Assisting in the set up of show stands and other equipment on event days to ensure that the team are fully prepared and set up for the day.

Supporting the Events Lead with administrative duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the team and business.

The candidate:

Strong organisational skills will enable you to effectively plan your own workload as well as plan the schedule and logistical elements of events.

Strong communication and listening skills will allow you to quickly build rapport with potential customers at events, therefore, allowing you to effectively identify and match their needs to your products.

A minimum of 6 - 12 months Events-specific work experience will enable you to settle into the role quickly and hit the ground running.

The ability to be flexible will enable you to adapt to the company's needs and attend events that occur outside of the typical Monday to Friday working hours.

Possessing a full UK driving licence and a car will allow you to drive the company vehicle to events.
