A leading business-to-business journal publisher and events company based in South London are currently seeking an Events Marketing Assistant to join their team. The key focus of this role is to market the company's legal, insurance and intellectual property-focused events, through the use of various mediums, including social media, email campaigns and webinars. As part of the role, you will be expected to attend events and will be presented with exciting opportunities to attend international events within Europe and the USA. The role:



Creating and implementing marketing campaigns via a number of mediums to promote the company's events to drive awareness and attendance.


Identifying and attending competitors' events to gain potential leads and increase business opportunities.


Updating event information on the company's website to ensure that the target audience are constantly well-informed.


Communicating with the Marketing and Events team on a regular basis to ensure the smooth co-ordination of day-to-day activities.


Ensuring that the execution of your day-to-day activities are in line with GDPR requirements to ensure that your work and the work of the wider company meet legal requirements.



The candidate:



A Marketing degree coupled with some marketing experience will enable you to settle in and take grasp of the role quickly and hit the ground running.


Strong organisational skills are vital as this will allow you to plan your workload effectively, in particular, in organising and scheduling marketing campaigns across the various mediums.


Strong communication and listening skills will enable you to work closely and effectively with your colleagues to ensure that day-to-day tasks and activities are smoothly co-ordinated and executed.


Possessing a solid working knowledge of social media channels and in particular, LinkedIn, will allow you to promote the company's events effectively.


Possessing a good level of design skills and experience of using Photoshop will enable you to produce high-quality and eye catching marketing materials.
