Our Graduate Electrical Engineers contribute to exciting projects. You will be functioning as part of a team, providing assistance to other engineers and working across a range of Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design and PMC opportunities in Green Hydrogen, Blue Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Waste to Biofuels as well as traditional energy projects including gas treatment and hydrocarbons for international clients.
The aim of your role will be to encourage innovative solutions and approaches to problems while keeping our values at the front of what you do. Day-to-day, you will:
- Work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer
- Develop the Electrical design philosophy for a facility
- Identify and specify the appropriate Electrical Codes and Standards for a project
- Undertake Electrical System simulation and design
- Develop Electrical System Specifications
- Develop Data Sheets for Electrical switchgear and transformers
- Engage with vendors and suppliers for development of the Electrical system design including main substation
- Work with designers to develop standard Control and Electrical drawings for process plant, utilities and infrastructure
- Input and review of 3D Models of Process Plant to develop integrated multi-discipline plant design
- Develop Material Quantities and input to Cost calculations
