Graduate Development Programme - Business Management
Just like you, we’re different. We understand that everyone has something distinct to offer and it’s this diversity that makes us stronger. We look for future leaders who can bring a diversity of strengths, and who are innovators, creative thinkers, data and digital disruptors.
If you want to be all of these things too, you’ll find our three year Graduate Programme is tailored to your strengths and realising your individual potential through hands on working and learning opportunities, giving you an insight into the depth and breadth of various teams across the UK business.
You can also look forward to all the career-building experience that comes with being part of a business employing 50,000 people in 170 countries. We’re also one that is focused on caring for our customers, helping them protect the people, places and things they love.
What’s in it for you: £28,000 starting salary + excellent lifestyle benefits which includes 25 days holiday plus an additional 3 volunteering days, discounted gym membership, discounted gadget insurance, full private medical cover, discounted technology offers, 12% pension and much more.
What can I look forward to?
As a Business graduate, you’ll rotate around our organisation and challenge yourself in a variety of areas, learning about markets and products across the UK. This unique exposure will give you a deep understanding of our culture and how we serve our customers.
The programme will also prepare you for a management and leadership role, so you’ll get to develop a broad range of skills and networks, overseeing projects that deliver value to our business and customers, and creating the commercial and technical know-how that will set you on course to be a future leader.
Throughout the 27 month rotational programme you’ll move around our network of UK offices (so you’ll need to be flexible and welcoming of change), where you’ll get to learn from and be inspired by some of our most talented colleagues. You’ll also study for Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications and your achievements will be rewarded with regular reviews and pay increases. You may even get to work abroad – we are a global company after all!
What you’ll need:
- A 2:1 degree (predicted or achieved) in any undergraduate discipline
- At least 112 UCAS points – BBC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects excluding general studies
- A-C grade in Maths and English GCSE
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
In return, and as well as the rewards listed above, you’ll be joining a business where we know that difference comes from the inside out. We are genuine and transparent in how we help our customers to protect the things they truly love, and we value diversity as something that makes us stronger and sets us apart. In fact, it’s what makes all the difference.
Here, you’ll have every opportunity to use your drive and enthusiasm to innovate the future of Zurich in a welcoming environment where different opinions are valued, personal needs are respected and opportunity is equal for all. You too will be encouraged to work in an agile way that helps you to balance your personal and work commitments.
Our core business is insurance - General and Life. Our global network focuses on our key markets in North America and Europe.
