Based in the City of London, this well-established company is looking for a bright candidate to join their team! They are a market leader in corporate learning and business intelligence, being particularly renowned for their high-end business events. As a conference producer, you will have the opportunity to be ahead of the most striking news and challenges in the telecommunications industry. Covering a wide range of topics treating the technological innovations which shape the telecom market, you will work on putting in place industry-relevant conferences across the globe. You will do lots of international travel, in a friendly and driven environment.


The Role:


Conduct extensive research on the telecom industry to create the content and to develop the agenda for conferences


Produce a product proposal to be presented to the relevant teams for building a strong sales and marketing strategy of the event


Identify the relevant content and structure of the conferences (i.e. presentations/ workshops/ panel discussions), while securing senior level speakers, delegates and sponsors


Chair the conferences and manage the schedule and the agenda, ensuring they are run smoothly


Develop and maintain excellent professional relationships with key industry experts and leaders



The Candidate:


Your strong academic background (including 2:1 in your undergrad degree, plus minimum of ABB at A Level or equivalent) will allow you to conduct extensive research


Your commercial acumen, combined with 6-12 months commercial experience will enable you to fully understand the challenges faced across the given industry, creating the relevant agenda for conferences


Your ability to speak other languages will help you when producing conferences in Africa, Middle East and Asia


Your excellent oral and written communication skills will help you build professional and credible relationships with all stakeholders


Your strong project management skills and attention to detail will contribute towards putting in place high-end business events
