Danson Ltd is a Civil Engineering company based in the Black Country and is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Civil Engineering graduate to help them achieve their objectives. Dansons is committed to developing Green Technology for reuse of Civil Engineering geo-materials such as soil and aggregates. The company collects extracted soil waste from construction sites and demolition waste, brings it to its depot plant where the material is analysed, cleaned and reused for producing recycled concrete, which is then fed back into the construction industry. Dansons also collects and treats contaminated soils by using environmentally friendly technology and advices its clients on the Health and Safety handling procedures for such materials.
The role will be on the analysis of materials – and understanding the potential of re-use of material where possible. Will need to work closely with the university supervisor in developing the analytical skills necessary to complete this work.
Qualified to degree level in Civil Engineering along with a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, you will have a portfolio of knowledge and skills that can be used to add value to this exciting project. You will help further build and increase Dansons’ capacity and services to its clients in the construction industry by providing quicker and more reliable scientific and technical analysis and classification of construction waste using local university facilities.
