What's the role?

We’re looking for high-performing graduates to drive our business forward and become future leaders within our Channel Sales Division.

What does the role involve?

Your first role of the programme will be the role of a Customer Service Representative. In this role you will process calls from internal and external customers in an efficient and professional manner; you’ll be dealing with our existing corporate customers to help them with orders, as well as proactively contacting customers, using a suggestive selling approach, to offer solutions to their problems and in order to meet their business needs.

This initial landing role in customer services will arm you with the knowledge of our customers, our extensive product range and the services we offer, as well as getting to know the organisation and our ways of working - it’s a great platform on which to build your career at Hilti.

Channel Sales encompasses our Customer Service department, our internal sales team, as well as our retail network of 8 Hilti Stores across the UK, and next steps in this programme could be varied within these areas, for example Customer Services: Assistant Team Leader / Trainer; Internal Sales: Account Manager / Team Leader or Hilti Store Regional Support / Team Leader.

What you will have

  • You have a degree qualification in any discipline
  • You have potential and desire to transition to a team leader role
  • You are curious and committed, a flexible team player with good communication and social skills.
  • You need some work experience in a customer-facing role (preferred)
  • You need adaptability, with the ability to learn technical information quickly
  • You need excellent communication skills
