Make a difference to your future
Do you have an interest in using information to improve health and social care services, including care homes and NHS hospitals? Would you like to play a central role in an organisation which makes sure care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high quality care? Our Intelligence Graduate Analyst Scheme welcomes an intake of graduates every year.
This is your chance to develop your skills and experience as you analyse a wide range of data relating to health and social care. Your work will provide valuable information and insight to guide improvements in health and social care for all users.
During the two years of the programme you will gain experience during a number of different placements. Possibilities include reviewing quantitative information about providers to assess risk, creating information and analysis to inform inspection teams, analysing feedback from patients, carers, friends and family, and analysing other qualitative data. You will also have the possibility to experience an external placement, such as at the Department of Health or NHS England.
You will have or be expecting a minimum 2:2 or equivalent in any subject together with an awareness of the role of CQC and an interest in health and social care services. Your strengths will include using quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and patterns, and then providing insightful, evidence-based judgements. You will also have a flair for communicating using a wide range of methods and styles coupled with a collaborative approach to strengthen and enhance our positive team working environment.
Here at the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we have a strong learning ethos, so we offer our graduates diverse opportunities for development against our competency framework (from analytical skills and thinking to communicating with clarity to strategic awareness and more).
