Commercial Graduate Careers at Glencore UK

Based in our fast-paced London office, our commercial programme is designed to accelerate the careers of outstanding graduates who have an entrepreneurial outlook and a genuine interest in energy commodity trading.

Our graduate roles combine structured, professional development with on-the-job experience – successful candidates will have direct exposure to the commercial teams and will be trusted to take on responsibility from day one.

This programme is designed to prove your commercial aptitude and hone your skills for a seat at one of our trading desks. Successful candidates provide front-line support to traders within risk management, analytics or operations, with opportunities to rotate between.

If you are dedicated and driven, you have a can-do spirit, and you are willing to learn and take responsibility, we offer the chance to develop your career in commodities – and the rewards to match.

Who we look for

We look for recent (or soon-to-be) graduates with an excellent track record of individual achievement – who are interested in a challenging, exciting career in the commodities sector.

You should have an entrepreneurial approach, a deeply analytical mindset, and the capability to solve complex problems using a wide range of numerical and technical skills.

Working at Glencore requires commercial awareness, adaptability and resilience – and you will need to thrive in team environments as well as take initiative independently.
