Who are we looking for?
As our ideal General Management Graduate within North and Scotland National Contracting you will need to be enthusiastic, well organised, and self-motivated.

You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject with a minimum achievement of a 2:1 classification.

What might my 2 year programme entail?
The role of General Management Graduate within our National Contracting business will report to the General Manager depending on the area of business you are working within. Your time spent as a General Management Graduate will include rotations within the various departments within the Contracting function, this will provide you with the opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the Operational, Estimating, Commercial, Technical and Continuous Improvement departments.

As a route to market for the core business of Tarmac Aggregates and Asphalt, the National Contracting surfacing business will provide the successful candidate with a breadth of knowledge of the products, manufacturing, installation and contract management of the contracting business.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in the following areas:

• Negotiation Skills

As part of this role you will be required to spend periods of time at various locations within the North & Scotland Business for up to 4 months duration and you will also be required to undertake travel throughout the UK.
