The Role

Predominantly the role involves generating revenue from very warm leads.

This will be done through consultative telephone conversations with industry professionals, building rapport, negotiating terms and managing the entire process with both new and existing clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

Regular telephone contact with your accounts to build excellent working relationships to drive year on year growth

Leading regular trading updates with your line manager and key stakeholders and ensuring 100% accuracy of event numbers and pipelines

Maintaining a robust and ambítious sales plan and ensuring maximum delivery against sales targets for entire portfolio

Monitoring competitor activity and understanding the market forces influencing your sector.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with around 6 months experience in a business to business (B2B) Sales role, this may include events sales, media sales, tech sales, IT sales, recruitment etc.

Proven track record of delivering to sales targets and keeping yourself motivated to achieve your goals

Educated to degree level

Proactive and well organised

Excellent interpersonal skills

A professional telephone manor

Well presented and articulate

Confident communicating with people of all levels
