Are you a confident and organised graduate who is passionate about starting a career in the Events industry?



An excellent opportunity to join an exciting software technology company as an Event Coordinator, based in their Chichester office. You will be working as part of the Community Marketing Team to organise a variety of events throughout the year, including the annual conference which attracts 1000 attendees. With support from the Community Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all elements of the events, including logistics, budgeting, venue hire and finding speakers. The company, that still has the atmosphere of a start-up but with the financial security of a global leader, is passionate about the well-being of their staff and offer flexi-working hours, work from home days and regular socials. They are looking for someone who has a genuine hunger for a career in events and progress within the industry.



The Opportunity


Plan, organise and execute a large portfolio of community events from beginning to end


Support with the booking of suppliers, venues and speakers for the events


Maintain the budgets for each event and ensure revenue targets are hit


Work closely with the sales and marketing team to achieve optimum attendance at the events


When required, attend the events and offer on-site assistance



Your Profile


A genuine passion for Events will keep you motivated and


An Events or Marketing Degree will provide you with an understanding of what is necessary to organise a successful event


An understanding of ecommerce will allow you to immerse yourself fully in the company as a whole, as well as the speakers and delegates of the events


Excellent verbal communication skills will help you to build strong relationships with clients and event staff


Outstanding organisation and time-management skills will ensure you are able to stay on top of the variety of responsibilities of this role
