OUR ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME


Our Engineering Management programme runs over 2 years and is designed to give you as much exposure as possible to our business. RATP Dev UK is a large and multifaceted organisation and you will experience working in various departments in both regulated and deregulated businesses.


The programme starts in September 2017 and there will be different and challenging work placements with interesting job content and practical experience in areas including:


  1. Vehicle Mechanics
  2. People management
  3. Project management
  4. Operations including service delivery and network review and development
  5. Commercial operations including sales, marketing and business development
  6. Budgeting and forecasting

Mentoring from senior managers to support your professional and personal development as well as HR and L&D managers, including (but not limited to):


  1. Project management
  2. IOSH
  3. Trade union negotiation
  4. Contract management
  5. Time management
  6. Presentation skills

At the end of the programme, the Company will consider appointing the engineering management graduate to a first line management position.


WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN RETURN?


  1. Ambitious and talented individuals with a degree in Engineering -Mechanics, Electronics, Automotive or related.
  2. UK equivalent of 2.1 or higher
  3. A full UK driving license
  4. Flexibility in working shifts and rotating between placements, departments and companies
