About the opportunity

Over the course of the programme, you will develop your design capabilities as well as understanding of our product development cycle. You’ll gain experience in practical creation and installation, taking products from prototype to launch to help us fulfil our business plans and objectives.

You’ll learn all about the processes we use when developing our products. We’ll teach you how to report on the management systems operators, from Factory Floor to Strategic Management level. Responsibilities you could own on the programme include:

• Implementing key product development projects across operational sites
• Conducting tests and compiling reports on product prototyping
• Leading different stages of the product development cycle through from inception and delivery to reporting

By the end of your structured training period, where you will be mentored throughout, you should be ready to take on a permanent role within our design function!

About you

We’re looking for highly motivated teammates with a 2:1 (or equivalent) in a Built Environment, Engineering or Product Design subject area. You’ll need to be capable of working on your own initiative as well as prioritising your workload. It’s important that you’re passionate about solving problems with the ability to create solutions. You will need a full driving licence, as well as the ability to travel to sites across the UK. Other qualities we’d like to see include:

• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• IT knowledge
