Our intensive programme

You’ll spend two action-packed years building up knowledge and skills in different companies, different divisions, and potentially different countries as well. It’s a great opportunity to gain international experience, develop strong customer relationships and gain in-depth product knowledge – all while working in a fast-paced sales environment.

Your opportunity to make a real impact from day one

Our businesses are sharply focussed on strong commercial performance. So, you’ll be working right at the heart of the action, taking on diverse challenges and responsibilities, and adding real value to the various Sales functions you are placed with.

A typical day could include:

  • Building a sales pipeline and meeting strategic growth targets by identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategies in all target accounts
  • Conducting strategic reviews within the customer base
  • Working in conjunction with Sales Managers to develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Developing territory management plans that identify and prioritise activities to achieve business goals
  • Working on new product launches by analysing competitors and market size to determine the best possible strategies for growing own business brands
  • Enjoying a team lunch or socialising with colleagues after work

Ongoing development and support

We offer classroom and on-the-job training as well as funding for you to gain a professional qualification or pursue language lessons. There will also be opportunities for you to explore a wide range of career paths, potentially across all four divisions of our diverse Group. Throughout your time on the programme, you will be supported by your Line Manager, a dedicated Coach, a Graduate Buddy, your Graduate Programme Business Contact and the Graduate Programme team.

What we look for

We operate internationally – and you need to be able to do the same, with the unrestricted right to work in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and within the European Economic Area (EEA). Ideally, your degree should have some relation to sales but it’s not essential. All that matters is that you have a 2:1 or equivalent. You must also have strong team-working, communication and relationship-building skills.
